How much deposit is required?
A 50% deposit is required to start, with the remaining 50% due when the pool arrives at the port ready for delivery.
What other costs might I need to consider?
Potential additional costs include electrician services, crane hire, transport, site preparation, council approval, and finishing touches. These depend on your specific site.
How long does it take to manufacture the pool?
Manufacturing typically takes 10–12 weeks, though high demand may extend this. Production slots are assigned on a first-come basis upon receipt of the deposit.
How deep are your pools?
The swim area is approximately 1.3 metres deep for the 20ft pool and 1.5 for the 40ft pool.
Where do you deliver?
Our pools are made to order in China and delivered to the closest port in Australia or worldwide. Within Australia, a truck driver can deliver the pool to your location. Depending on the situation, a crane may be needed for placement.
What is the recommended base for the pool?
We recommend placing the pool on a 20cm engineered concrete slab or a steel frame, designed and certified by your builder.
Can the pool be installed in-ground?
Our pools are designed to remain above ground but can be partially in-ground on sloped sites with proper preparation, such as retaining walls and a concrete slab.
Can the pool shape or size be modified?
No, the dimensions are fixed to standard shipping container sizes to maintain cost efficiency.
Does the container metal make the pool hotter?
No, the fibreglass shell is insulating. Optional heat pumps and additional insulation are available for temperature control.
Can I clad the outside of the container?
Yes, but cladding is not included in our service. Consider safety implications, such as footholds for climbing.
What is the decking material?
Our decking is made from Polyurethane resin reinforced with mineral fibres, offering the look of wood with the durability of plastic and the suppleness of rubber.
Should I add a pool cover?
A pool cover helps retain heat, reduces debris, and simplifies maintenance. Many customers choose to add one.
Do you offer heating and cooling options?
Yes, we provide energy-efficient reverse-cycle heat pumps (12kw or 17kw options) mounted inside the container for a clean look.
What pool lights do you offer?
We offer remote-controlled multicolour LED lights—one light for 6-metre pools, two for 12-metre pools.
Should I add a pool cleaner?
A robotic pool cleaner is recommended for easier maintenance and superior cleaning compared to manual vacuums.
What about swim jets?
We offer swim jets for exercise or leisure, with options for casual swimmers to athletes.
Do you provide installation?
No, we focus on manufacturing but work with your builder or project manager to ensure a successful installation.
How is the pool delivered?
Our pools are made to order in China and delivered to the closest port in Australia or worldwide. Within Australia, a truck driver can deliver the pool to your location. Depending on the situation, a crane may be needed for placement.
Do I need council approval?
Yes, council approval is required in Australia. Documentation requirements vary by state.
Is a fence required?
Yes, fencing is required by law and must comply with local council regulations.
Will I need a crane?
In most cases, yes. A crane will lift the pool into place. Local operators can assess your site beforehand.
Can I install my own decking?
Yes, and we’ll work with your builder to ensure proper alignment with the pool and other structures.
What electrical supply is needed?
A 240VAC 10A circuit is required for the pump, lighting, and sanitation system. Additional circuits may be needed for optional features like swim jets or heat pumps.
Is plumbing required?
No external plumbing is needed. Optional sand filters or council regulations may require additional connections.
