READ FIRST: HOW TO START YOUR CLIPGUN

The Clipgun has a two-step safety start. It will not fire straight after the trigger pull — that is normal, not a fault.

Pull the trigger once to power it on. You do not need to hold the trigger. The display lights up and shows three green dashes ( – – – ). The Clipgun is now powered on but still locked by the safety.

Press and hold the red button for 3 seconds. The display changes from the three green dashes to the clip size (for example C1). The Clipgun is now activated and ready to fire.

Seeing three green dashes? The tool is in safety lock. Hold the red button for 3 seconds to activate it.

Common QuestionsClipgun FAQ

I pulled the trigger and it will not fire — is it faulty?

No — this is the built-in safety. Pulling the trigger only powers the tool on (the display shows three green dashes). Press and hold the red button for 3 seconds until the display shows the clip size (e.g. C1). The Clipgun is then activated and ready to fire.

Does it work with Outback C24 stainless steel clips?

Yes. The Outback Clipgun is designed for standard C24 clips. Our 10,000-piece stainless steel clip box is the recommended add-on.

Does it come with a battery and charger?

Yes — 4.0Ah lithium-ion battery and 240V charger are included. Carry bag, belt clip and manual are also included.

Do clips come with it?

It depends on your selection. Ready to Work includes 10,000 C24 stainless clips. The Full Kit option does not include clips. Extra clip boxes are optional; check your selected setup and order summary above.

Is there a spare battery included?

No — the standard kit includes one battery. For a spare for all-day contractor work, call Daryl on 0421 572 245.

Can I use Milwaukee batteries?

Yes, with the Milwaukee Battery Adaptor sold separately.

How fast does it ship?

The clip gun is good value at $1700 per unit - the best price i could find

The clip gun is good value at $1700 per unit - the best price i could find. My clip gun has now done about 20,000 clips without failing. Couple of things to look out for, the battery needs to be well charged, if you have any issues check this first. Next only load one round of clips at a time - use until finished, double ganging will cause a jam. Great after sales service from Outback Fencing supplies, I was also able to purchase an additional battery for very good price. 100% recommend the product and the supplier. Easy to get onto when you need them and fast and efficient response to problems and re-orders.

These clip guns are great really quick and easy to use. Haven’t had any feeding or jamming issues at all. The clips crimp up really tight noticeably tighter than another brand battery clip gun I’ve used and they’re adjustable so you can get the crimp just how you want it.
