Available in three wire gauges to match your application. The 2.00mm is built for high-pressure boundary runs where maximum tensile strength matters. The 1.80mm is the all-rounder — strong, economical, and the most popular choice for general farm use.
All rolls are 500 metres with optimally spaced barbs for effective stock deterrence and security.
📐 Which Gauge Do You Need?
2.00mm — Maximum strength. Ideal for external boundary fencing, highway fencing, and high-pressure livestock areas where the wire needs to hold serious tension over long runs.
1.80mm — The all-rounder. Perfect for general farm fencing, paddock boundaries, and most rural applications. Strong enough for cattle, light enough to work with easily.
Why Outback barbed wire? Our wire is hot-dip galvanised — not electro-galvanised like many cheap imports. Hot-dip coating is thicker, more uniform, and lasts significantly longer in Australian conditions. Combined with high tensile steel, you get a wire that holds tension and resists corrosion for decades, not years.
