We started Outback Fencing from a dirt block in Cargo with an entry-level machine and no idea what was coming. We had no clue how much demand was out there — or how brutal manufacturing really is. But Jess and I worked unbelievable hours, took on every piece of feedback, and poured everything back into the business. Now we're taking things to the next level — our hinged joint mesh and barbed wire is manufactured using Bekaert heavy galvanised wire, the world's largest independent wire manufacturer with over 140 years of innovation behind every metre.
Started from a Dirt Block
No investors. No backing. Just an entry-level machine, a dirt block in Cargo, and two people who had no idea what they were getting into. We figured it out the hard way — long days, long nights, and a refusal to give up. Every upgrade since has been earned.
